A Gangster Arrested During Pushpa 2 Screening in Nagpur: The Rule at a local cinema. Meshram had 27 criminal cases against him, including two murders. He had been on the run for over 10 months before his capture.
Police arrested Vishal Meshram, a notorious gangster, while he watched Pushpa 2: The Rule at a local cinema. Meshram had 27 criminal cases, including two murders. He had been on the run for over 10 months.
Meshram was known for attacking police officers and being involved in drug dealing. He was also booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). Police tracked him after learning about his love for Pushpa 2.
Police kept an eye on him because he liked the film. On the night of the screening, they saw his Thar car outside the cinema. They deflated the tyres to stop him from escaping. Officers waited inside the theater to arrest him.
After the movie started, police moved in quietly. They grabbed him from behind and made sure he couldn’t escape. Meshram was arrested without trouble and taken to Nagpur Central Jail. Authorities will soon transfer him to Nashik for further investigation.
The arrest happened amid the huge success of Pushpa 2: The Rule. The film, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, has broken many box office records in India.
However, the premiere was also marked by a tragic incident. A stampede broke out during the screening, killing a woman and seriously injuring a child. The incident raised concerns about crowd control at major events.
In response, students from Osmania University protested at Allu Arjun’s house, demanding compensation for the victim’s family. The protest turned violent, with protesters damaging property.
Despite the tragedy, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues to break box office records, with theaters showing the film at 17% to 19% occupancy.
