Yash Raj Films (YRF) has started preparing for the movie Dhoom 4, which will be directed by Aditya Chopra.
The Dhoom series is famous for changing action movies in India, starting with the first film starring John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan.
In Dhoom 4, called Dhoom Reloaded, Ranbir Kapoor will play the main role, which is a big change for the series.
A source close to the film says Ranbir has wanted to be part of Dhoom 4 for a long time and is excited to play the villain. He is now confirmed to lead the movie. Aditya Chopra believes that Ranbir is the perfect choice to continue the Dhoom legacy.
It looks like the original cast will not be part of this new version. Instead, two younger heroes will play police officers who work together. The story has been decided, and now they are looking for the right actors.
Dhoom 4 is expected to be the biggest movie in the series and aims to meet international standards for Indian films.
The script is written by Aditya Chopra and Vijay Krishna Acharya, promising a unique movie experience.
The film will likely begin production in late 2025 or early 2026 after YRF chooses a director and works on the planning and preparation.
Dhoom 4 will also be Ranbir Kapoor’s 25th film, making it a special milestone in his career.
