On Tuesday, Iran fired missiles at Hod Hasharon, a city in northern Israel. About 100 homes were damaged. Some buildings were badly damaged and will take time to fix, while others had small damage.
Later, Iranian rockets hit areas near Hod Hasharon, close to Tel Aviv. Iran fired about 180 missiles at Israel because of growing tensions between the two countries.
Iran said the attack was because of the deaths of three leaders: Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoshan. Haniyeh was killed in July in Tehran, and Nasrallah and Nilforoshan were killed in an airstrike in Beirut last week.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the missile attack a “big mistake” and said Iran would be held responsible. People are worried the fighting between Israel, Gaza, and Hezbollah could turn into a bigger war.
